Instant Decision Credit Cards Information

In Credit Cards - Types of Cards - 2 years ago

Taking advantage of instant decision credit cards is easy enough to do, even in these credit-restrained economic times. For those who don't know, such credit cards are those that are usually approved or disapproved, after an online application, within 60 seconds of submission. Nowadays, the power and strength of the Internet has made this not only possible, but also the way to go about getting a new card with a good credit line.

There are, of course, certain circumstances that could arise that prevent somebody from accessing instant decision credit cards for one reason or another. This isn't to say that a person who may have to wait several days to receive a decision isn't a good candidate for one of these cards, because that's usually not what's going on. Rather, it's usually because the computer program has picked out certain factors that might actually need a human eye to go over before a positive decision is made.

On the other hand, premium instant decision credit cards usually require at least a good credit score or rating, and some of the top cards will require an excellent rating in order to be approved for one within a minute of online application. One would be surprised, though, at how often people are approved for some of the most famous and thoroughly accepted cards around these days.

For purposes of information, there are generally three different categories when it comes to instant decision credit cards; consumer cards, American Express-type cards (very premium) and “bad credit” credit cards. There are pros and cons for each type, so make sure a quick visit is made to the Internet to learn a little about each type before applying for any single kind of card.

For example, many people who think they have what might be called “bad” credit actually don't, and could actually qualify for a consumer card (though maybe not one of the very premium charge-type cards). Usually, a credit score of 620 to 630 is enough to qualify one for a consumer card that comes with a decent interest rate. “Bad credit” credit cards do, after all, serve a vital role in helping people reestablish damaged credit, so they shouldn't be dismissed out of hand when it comes to certain types of credit cards, in many instances.

These kinds of online application programs when it comes to many of the literally thousands of credit cards out there nowadays also work for those who need an instant decision, for one reason or another. One aspect, though, to keep an eye out for, are cards and companies that tack on high upfront charges and fees to obtain that decision and then the card in a very short amount of time. These charges can amount to up to 200 dollars, in some instances.

In the end, taking advantage of instant decision credit cards can make sense for a number of people, though they should always take the time to go online and research the cards being contemplated and the rates and fees they may charge in order to get those cards along with an instant decision.
