How does the NYSE trading floor work?
In Investments - Stocks - Asked by Admin - 11 months ago

The NYSE trading floor has face-to-face trading on the floor which is called a listing exchange. The orders come in and member go on the floor to trading posts to be matched with a buyer or seller and then auction pricing is used to decide on a price and then the details are sent back to the brokerage firm who made the order.
